Our Story

The Nimia Story is a simple one but by no means an easy one.

After long conversations and plenty of research, two sisters, Enza & Patrizia, decided they wanted to get into the coffee business.

Much like Pablo Escobar in Columbia, they had to work their way up from the bottom - but with a different Columbian blend.

The name came totally out of the blue. After countless suggestions and enough paper to kill most of the Amazon rainforest, the name came from their Sicilian dialect. Coffee at ours or Nimia in Italian.

From an empty Art gallery to the bustling coffee shop you see today, the two ladies have created Eton's only independent Italian coffee shop and have no thoughts of slowing down.

The coffee and food are a reflection of Nimia - carefully sourced, well made and full of flavour. Nimia work hard to make sure only the best produce is served, from the coffee machine to the kitchen, the proof is in the pudding...or sandwiches we should say.

Nimia, because coffee is better at ours.
